#NASATweetup Day 1, Part 1

The Shuttle documentary that was playing in the background is rolling credits, and the last power strips are being brought in, so I think we’re officially starting soon.  Here are a few obligatory photos.

Me at the Countdown Clock, currently holding at 11 hours.

My first (very zoomed-in) picture of Atlantis. She's a good old girl (as per the Marian Call song about Serenity.)

The Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB). It's where they make the things that go to space.

Someday I will find the words to adequately express how I felt driving up towards the VAB this morning while the sun was rising.  But not right now.
